Taking the form of a crystal-like structure similar to Greenshine, Brimshine will have the appearance of an orange crystal sticking out of the ground. Alternatively, there are shards or slivers or Brimshine you can also find. Whether it is a crystal or a shard is directly correlated to the amount of Brimshine you receive. This material not only allows you to craft/upgrade new weapons and outfits, it can also be used to trade with certain merchants.

Brimshine can be found all around the Burning Shores, and can be identified as a glowing rock protruding from the ground. If you are in an area but can’t see any around you, using Aloy’s focus will highlight any Brimshine within a certain radius of you. You will be able to see exactly where they are even through walls. When walking up to one, you will receive a prompt to hold triangle to collect the resources.
