Blue-Maned Lynels are a cut above your average half-horse half monster hybrids. Noticeable by their blue skin and grey hair, they will drop a Blue-Maned Lynel Saber Horn when defeated. This item has 33 fuse attack power and can be cooked with monster parts to make an elixir. With more health and an even more aggressive fighting style, you’ll want to make sure you are fully stocked up before attempting to take on one of these monstrosities.

Blue-Maned Lynels are commonly located in the Lanayru Great Spring and the Eldin Canyon Depths. As stated above, you’ll need to successfully defeat one of these alpha Lynels, and it is not a walk in the part. You’ll be charged at, shot at by multiple arrows, slammed, and overall trounced. But if you can survive through willpower and sheer determination, you’ll be rewarded with a plethora of materials. Along with the Blue-Maned Saber Horn, you will earn Lynel Hoofs, Blue-Maned Lynel Mace Horn, Lynel Guts, and arrows. A pretty decent haul of loot for the boss-like enemy you will have to defeat.
