Smalland: Survive the Wilds takes on an exciting rendition of survival at its finest. You get to explore a vast world filled with oversized creatures, foliage, and other objects that makes you feel as if you were an insect yourself. You’re puny and you take the form as a human that can wear certain gear to resemble insects. Now you know what it feels like to be an ant. Surviving isn’t simple when you’re as small as you are so you need to find items around your new environment to survive. Play with other players and embark on a journey filled with plenty of exploration. One of the objects you need to survive are bark and nectar and we’re going to teach you how to Survive the Wilds.
How to get Bark in Smalland: Survive the Wilds
Are you looking to build a base? What about weapons? Bark is crucial in this game because once you obtain it you have opportunities to craft weapons and buildings. While foraging for bark you will also pick up wood along the way. Finding bark is pretty simple and it requires you to make your way west of the forest. You’ll find bark scattered on the beach south of an NPC named Skadi. You can also find bark nearby an NPC name Lisandra.
There are other locations you can travel to if you want to get your hands on bark. Some of those locations involve doing a little bit of exploration. If you see fallen pieces of wood there’s a high chance you can use a flint pickaxe to break it apart to create bark.
How to get Nectar in Smalland: Survive the Wilds
Nectar is another important resource you need in order to survive as a small creature. The reason for making nectar is because you can use it to tame dangerous animals, or bugs, in the wild. Taming is a cool feature in the game. Have you ever wanted to tame a ladybug? You can do that if you had Ladybug traveling kit. You need to use nectar in order to craft the kit, which can then, be used to tame a ladybug on your journey.
If you want to find nectar, you’re in luck, because it’s easy to find. You need to locate poppies in the game. These poppies are brightly colored red so they’re easy to spot. Just find poppies and cut them down with an axe, but be cautious, because where there are poppies there are dangerous bees who want nothing more than to suck up their pollen.
If you want to Survive the Wilds you can start playing the game on Steam. The developers have released the game for early access and is available on PC.
