Sadly, players won’t be able to obtain spells such as Avada Kedavra just by simply playing the game. For those who aren’t familiar, this game uses a gacha style lootbox system for its cards. By performing certain actions and completing certain objectives within the game, players can earn Keys. There are two different versions of keys you can get: Silver and Golden Keys. We’ll be focusing on the golden ones for now, as those will be what you need in order to perform an Advanced Study.

In order to obtain Avada Kedavra, players will need to spend Golden Keys and try to acquire it in the Advanced Study lootbox. As of writing this article, players have a 0.147% chance of getting Avada Kedavra. This is due to the fact that all cards in the game come with a certain level of rarity. And this deadly spell is categorized under the Mythic and Dark Cards, the highest rarity in the game. Players have one of two options when it comes to collecting Golden Keys. You can have a chance at earning them by completing Daily Tasks, otherwise players will have to buy Golden Keys with real money. Thankfully, the game implements a pity system for their card lootboxes. This means if you have not gotten a Mythic/Dark/Legendary card in 19 consecutive attempts, a guaranteed one will be rewarded to you upon your 20th attempt.
