How to Get All Endings in My Friendly Neighborhood

Helping others and being friendly costs nothing

In a world where sentient puppets just want to make children friendlier, it is down to Handyman Gordon to decide the fate of the neighborhood and whether or not it will return to its friendly title or remain unfriendly forever. With a statement being made on how us as viewers no longer want to watch nice or friendly content anymore, the neighborhood is looking to you to make things right. Do you bring back the show or do you let it turn to ruin, leaving destruction to childhood memories and a ton of lonely puppets behind. Your decision to show mercy against the Amalgam means nothing but to add another achievement to the board. But what you actually do in this game matters to the faces of the beloved show. This is Vincent’s guide on how to get every ending in My Friendly Neighborhood. Spoilers below.

Canon and Bad Ending

There are a total of 4 endings to find in My Friendly Neighborhood. Two of these are incredibly easy to achieve as they are found at the end of the game and are simply separated by the final choice Gordon has to make. These are the True/Canon and Bad Endings. If you choose to leave the studio and the Friendly Neighborhood behind, Gordon will return home and you will never learn of the future of the neighborhood and those puppets you chose not to help. However, in choosing the Canon Ending which most will likely pick in their first playthrough, Gordon will stay on board with the studio, and the show will be reborn as it was intended to be, where 3 networks eventually approach to sign a deal to keep the puppets on the air for good. As the numbers rack in, Gordon returns to his normal life, his job finally over as he wonders about life inside the studio walls and if the neighborhood is as friendly as before.

Secret Ending – Leave Early

For those who are looking to find the other two endings, they may have been hidden to you if you were not paying close attention. The Bad Ending is achieved by leaving the studio entirely and going home without finishing the job. Keep in mind however that this can only be done at a specific point in the game. The moment when you can leave the studio is after defeating the Multi-Eyed Curtain Boss and gaining the Front Door Key. After you exit out of the studio in which Gordon will prompt you with what to do next, get into his truck and hit the wheel to drive the heck out of there and leave the Unfriendly Neighborhood to do whatever it pleases. This will result in the Secret Ending in which Gordon is fired for leaving the job half-finished.

Good Ending

Finally, to get the Good Ending, players will need to play through the game with the goal to save every member of the Friendly Neighborhood. We will highlight what you need to do specifically to help every neighborhood member out. Although the ending will read almost the same as the True Ending where Gordon joins the studio for another season. Whilst the show remains a hit in which networks want to buy it out to keep it going for longer, Gordon reminisces about his time on the show and the fulfilment he felt from the work he provided. He found his true purpose – helping others and being friendly costs nothing.

To get the final ending and the best in My Friendly Neighborhood, players need to hit these steps:

  • Find Pearl’s glasses on the Friendly Neighborhood main set and return them to her.
  • Play the black and white film for Gobblette and initiate a conversation with the puppet.
  • Locate the Medallion (two halves) to unlock the dog kennels. The dog food can be found on a bench inside the courtyard where you should fill the bowls and ring the bell beside the kennels to call the dogs over.
  • Fix the valve that Ray keeps banging on by finding a new drain pipe part.
  • Find all jigsaw pieces inside the Cardboard Penthouse to play Fur Elise with Arnold on the piano.
