How to Achieve All Endings in Amanda the Adventurer

Ending #1 – A Gruesome End (BAD Ending)

‘A Gruesome End’ is the first Ending you will likely achieve in Amanda the Adventurer. There is not much you can do to avoid this Ending as it is needed to collect key pieces of the puzzle for all of the secrets lying in the Attic. Of course, learning each puzzle solution and code that is necessary for the game before heading into your first playthrough will help you avoid the Bad Ending but every Ending you get in the game is recorded via the Television in the Main Menu. Therefore, for completion sake, you will want to see the Bad Ending to get the sticker proving you have completed the game how you were meant to for your first playthrough.

In order to get this Ending you really need to play through the game as you would normally do so. So that you can keep track of each puzzle solution without having to take pictures or use that memory of yours, these are the key pieces of information you need to know:

  • Kitchen Tape – Set time on the Oven to 40 minutes and turn to 425 degrees. Place Apple into Tray on the table and into the Oven itself. Close to transform the Apple Pie into the next Tape.
  • Neighbourhood Tape – Use the Code ‘CBF‘ and input this into the Piano Keys.
  • Accident Tape – Input the Times from the Tape onto the Clocks around the Attic. The Clock Hand is located on the Bulletin Board, being used as a pin for the Sam Colton Newspaper Article. Input ‘6:20‘ on the Wall Clock, ‘10:50‘ on the Alarm Clock, ‘3:45‘ on the Pocket Watch and finally ‘5:15‘ on the Grandfather Clock. Here you learn the Safe Code – 826 but it cannot be used yet (a key piece of info needed for your following playthrough).

When you reach Everything Rots Tape, the game ends with your first real piece of the puzzle as to what the Amanda the Adventurer TV Show is all about. A strange, hostile creature emerges from the floorboards and consumes Riley, the game ends and you return to the Main Menu where you will see a neat little sticker of the creature placed onto the side of the Television. The ‘Gruesome End’ can also be obtained if you deny Amanda when she wants you to help the kitten at the Farm.

Ending #2 – A Fateful End (BAD Ending)

When you head into the game again, you will need to open the Safe immediately using the code ‘826‘. Inside you will get the other half of the Symbol/Color Sheet to place on the Bulletin Board. You also get a Pause Button which you should put into the Television. This allows you to pause the Tapes and find secrets within which will give you Secret Tapes by completing puzzles inside the Attic using the information provided in the Original Tapes.

We highly recommend playing through the Secret Tapes first before you interact with anything in the Attic to unlock more secrets otherwise you will miss interesting parts of the story lore and scares within the new Tapes. However, this guide will show you what you need to do inside the Attic for each Tape to get another Secret Tape as a result.

  • Kitchen Tape – Go to the Oven before Amanda starts making her Apple Pie. Set Oven temperature to 575 degrees and 60 minutes. Resume the Tape to see that the Oven is now on fire. A new Recipe will be given to you where you need to make a Meat Pie. Place the Cheese onto the Mouse Trap located at the back of the Attic (beside the Chest), go to the Wall opposite the Red-haired Doll and pick up some Mushroom growing on the Wall’s interior. Finally, pick up the Plant Pot with the Crescent Moon symbol and water the Plant via the Plant Pad opposite the Doll and in front of the Mushrooms. Set the Oven to 525 degrees for 50 minutes. When the Potato has grown, place the Rat, Mushroom and Potato Pot into the Oven. You will get the Neighbourhood Tape next.
  • Alternate Neighbourhood Tape – In the new Neighbourhood Tape, Amanda gets lost but Wooly is there to lead the way but when the Stores begin to get mixed up and Amanda gets increasingly frustrated and ends in feeling defeated,. In the Tape’s conclusion, Amanda hands Wooly the present when you input his name. A new puzzle is on the table for you to complete. It is a Coloring Book where you need to select ‘24/7, Candy and Beef‘ in that order repeatedly until you reach the end of the Book. This gives you the Code ‘GUTS‘ to input in the Red Toolbox at the back of the Attic. The Scissors are important for later.
  • Whats a Family Tape – For this Tape you need to pause on every Weather Warning and come out of the TV POV to interact with the Weather Toy in the middle of the Attic. Click on the red circle to spin the wheel which will land on the corresponding Weather Report as said when you hit pause on the Video. In order you need to do – Thunderstorm, Tornado and Flooding. You need to pause on every Weather Report and spin the Weather Wheel to complete this puzzle for the Tape. To get Flooding Weather Report however, select ‘Spiders‘ when you are at the Chicken Farm. You will get the Original Tape, ‘Everything Rots‘. The Doll makes her return to the Attic, use the Scissors on her neck to obtain Batteries. The Batteries need to be placed in Blabbot the Robot.
  • Everything Rots Tape – Watch this one through to see the Ending where you are entrapped into Amanda the Adventurer Neighbourhood, forever.

Ending #3 – The End (TRUE Ending)

This one is found after you get the Secret Ending of the Door in the floor. Therefore, you need Blabbot functional in order to progress for the next Ending. You can turn Blabbot on by getting the Batteries out of the Red Doll using the Scissors obtained from the Toolbox (Code – GUTS). You need to play the ‘In My Neighbourhood’ Tape and pause when you are in the 24/7 Store. On the wall is ‘150325‘, you need to input this into the Blabbot. The Tape will break and eject. A Cake will appear on the centre table of the Attic with a Birthday Cake and the Code ‘081821‘ and input this new Code into the Blabbot. You are given new Oven instructions of 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Put this into the Oven to gain a Candle and another Birthday Card inside. The following Code from the new Card is ‘835161‘.

The Blabbot offers you a new Music Sheet to use on the Piano with the Code being ‘CCDCFE‘. Another Candle will pop out of the Piano which can be placed on the Cake. So now you should have 3 Candles on the Birthday Cake. The Alternate Accident Tape is located within the Cake as it deflates to the creepiest Happy Birthday song ever made. Things escalate rather fast in this new version of Accident where unfortunately everyone’s favorite character Wooly goes under the knife. Without consent…and drugged too. By watching this Tape you will get ‘Riley’s Fav Movies’. You get a new Code to work off of in this cut-up Tape recording – Wooly, Trapdoor and Treat. This takes you to the Trapdoor in the Attic where the next Tape is located titled ‘1989‘. The audio is chopped up in this one but you need to count the number of Chairs, Mushrooms, Fruit and Lights. The Code is – ‘2862‘ and you need to use this on the last locked item in the Attic – the Closet.

In the Closet you will get a Bucket and another Tape titled ‘Home Movies’. Place the Bucket on the Plant Mat so it can fill with water, you will need this later to dunk good ol’ Blabbot inside. Insert Code from Home Movies Tape, ‘401258‘ into Blabbot. Now it is time to say goodbye to the robot and dunk him into the water. You will find a Key inside his body which can be used to open the Chest at the back of the Attic. The final Tape ‘We Can Share’ reveals that Wooly is gone and only Amanda remains. If you say ‘Yes‘ to her secret, you will witness a cutscene where you have no choice but to destroy the Television. This is ‘The End’ Ending to Amanda the Adventurer.

Ending #4 – A Hollow End (GOOD Ending)

To get this Ending, you need to complete the steps in ‘The End’ Guide above and change nothing until you get to the ‘We Can Share’ Video Tape. When Amanda asks if she can share her secret type ‘No‘ instead. Amanda will be disappointed in you and demands you to leave the Attic forever, granting you the ‘A Hollow End’ Ending.

Ending #5 – The End? (GOOD Ending?)

The Color Tapes are secrets that you can obtain that provide backstory behind the real life events of what happened to the town where Sam Colton (Amanda the Adventurer creator) once the TV Show become a hit phenomenon. You will find Tapes on the real-life Amanda inside a facility where she appears to sign some kind of contract and we also learn of the disappearance of both Sam and other children that had a connection to the TV Show.

  • Accident Tape – Complete the Tape by hitting every correct answer. When you exit to complete the Clock Puzzle you will find the Orange Tape on the ground.
  • Alternate Neighbourhood Tape – Inside the Card Store you will see a Music Sheet on the Wall. Input ‘FACADE‘ into the Piano to obtain a secret Pale Blue Tape.
  • Find the Yellow Plant Pot via the Bulletin Board Symbol Sheet and water the Pot. Give to the Red Doll to complete the bows in her hair. She will offer you the Red Tape when you turn around.
  • Locate the Peach inside the Attic and create a Peach Pie using the Oven when it is in the middle of the Attic. Set the temperature to 425 degrees and the timer set for 30 minutes. You will obtain the Green Tape.
  • Type ‘Sam‘ instead of ‘Rooster’ at the Petting Zoo to obtain the Purple Tape.

When you find these 5 Tapes and see the game to the Ending where you need to destroy the Television, the sun will come up like the standard ‘The End’ Ending however something is different. This time there is a person dressed in red watching you from the central table in the Attic. But who could this be? With their face covered and their appearance at the table where everything related to the Show appears, you start to wonder, were they freed from the Amanda the Adventurer Show themselves or have they been watching you this entire time?

There is a 6th Tape that shows Wooly sitting in a chair for 11 minutes straight, straight chilling on his break in between his shift. However, us at Gamer Journalist are unsure of how you get the final Blue Tape as the past 5 Secret Tapes used can show you ‘The End’ Ending without this Blue Tape in hand. We wanted to mention this Tape as there is indeed a 6th one although we have not found how players can obtain it for themselves.
