How to Get a Tornado Fast in Roblox Sonic Speed Simulator

Who doesn't want to ride a biplane?

The Tornado is Sonic the Hedgehog’s trusty biplane, introduced all the way back in Sonic 2 on the Sega Genesis. While Tails is the one who maintains it, it is ostensibly Sonic’s, and his primary means of travel wherever his feet can’t take him. If you’d like to own this marvelous piece of aeronautic engineering yourself, there’s a will and a way. Here’s how to get a Tornado fast in Roblox Sonic Speed Simulator.

The Tornado is one of the various mounts you can unlock in Sonic Speed Simulator, and one of the only plane-type mounts available. You can unlock the Tornado for your personal use by playing the Tornado Assault minigame. The rub is that the Tornado is the last reward you get for playing that game, unlocked by obtaining 75,000 points. The points are cumulative, so you will unlock it eventually if you play enough, but we’re in a rush here, so let’s talk optimization.

In the Tornado Assault, your primary means of scoring points are shooting down the Badniks and flying through the rings. In order to optimize your score, you need to meet the magic middle between shooting down the Badniks and hitting the rings.

Optimizing your Score

First of all, get a piece of tape or something and use it to hold down your space bar. This ensures that your plane’s guns never stop firing, freeing you up to focus on steering. What you want to do here is focus primarily on sticking to the center of the flight path and hitting all of the rings. Do not miss a single ring if you can help it, as they’re the main source of your score. Additionally, between ring passes, you need to quickly whip your mouse to move in front of the Badniks, before returning to the central ring path. Since you’ll be constantly firing, you’ll almost definitely shoot them down without having to spend too long deliberately aiming at them.

If you can optimize your score in this manner, you’re all but guaranteed to score at or around 3000 points each time you play Tornado Assault, the highest score you can get. If you can maintain that perfect score, you should be able to unlock the Tornado in about 25 run-throughs, give or take.

In case you were wondering, you do have to sit in the pilot’s seat while driving the Tornado. Only Sonic is cool enough to maintain his footing on the upper wing.
