For beginners in Chainsaw Man: Devil’s Heart, there’s only really one weapon they’ll want to get. The katana. Cheap and reliable, every player should begin with getting it. The katana is selled in the Shop, which is close to spawn. To find the shop, Hop onto the road neighbouring spawn and look around. There should be a spray painted sign that reads ‘shop’ with a big arrow. Follow that arrow up the stairs and you’ll find a 7-Eleven.

On the counter will be a katana or a knife. The katana will cost 200 Yen, and the knife will cost 150 Yen. Opt for the katana. To get the appropriate funds, go around finding and killing fiends. With your bare hands, the Cricket Fiend will be the easiest. If you’re careful, you should be able to kill it before it lands enough shots. Alternatively, perform the starter quest a few times.
With enough money, go to the shop and purchase your weapon of choice. You will equip it immediately. Purchasing another weapon will replace your current one, so be careful! You can now go forth and slaughter your enemies. Just don’t underestimate them.
