How to Fix Tower of Fantasy Black Screen?

Can't explore a fantasy world if you can't see anything.

Tower of Fantasy features a vast, beautiful landscape of anime-inspired art, both in traditional fantasy styles and more cyberpunk-y styles. It’s a great game to look at, really, which is probably why you’d be distressed to boot it up and only get a black screen. So, how do you fix a black screen in Tower of Fantasy?

How to Fix Tower of Fantasy Black Screen?

A blank, black screen, either for Tower of Fantasy or just about any PC game, is usually the result of some kind of graphical error. Something went sideways when your computer attempted to load up the game’s visual elements, so nothing showed up.

In this situation, the first thing you should try is Alt-Tabbing out of the program, letting it sit for a moment, then switching back into it. Sometimes a quick kick in the proverbial pants will get those visual elements properly loaded.

If that’s out, the next step is to check your graphical drivers. If you have an NVidia graphics card, for example, open your NVidia control center and check to see if your graphical drivers are up to date. If they’re not, go ahead and update them. Out-of-date drivers aren’t properly equipped to handle newly-released games, so make sure to keep those up-to-date.
