How to Fix Tales of Symphonia Remastered Switch Glitches and Bugs

All those glitches, such a shame.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered is an action RPG game that follows multiple characters on an adventure. Similarly with other Tales of games in the franchise you get a new story and new characters. Fans of the beloved GameCube were thrilled when they heard we’d be getting a remastered edition that was set to release on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. When it came out, gamers weren’t so thrilled anymore due to the various amounts of glitches and bugs you encounter. Unfortunately the beloved game garnered tons of negative responses. If you’re reading this you’re probably wanting to figure out how to fix the tedious bugs. Here’s what we know so far about the bugs and glitches in Tales of Symphonia and how to fix them.

Types of Bugs Tales of Symphonia Remastered

We would like to point out that players who are operating the game using a PlayStation console are the lucky ones. It seems the bugs and glitches are mostly occurring to players who ordered the game on their Switch or bought a physical copy. Nintendo Switch players are reporting a vast amount of FPS issues, long loading times, animation errors, and more. Players went to Twitter and other social media profiles to voice their opinions. Players also found that if you play with Colette after she gets her wings the frame rate drops significantly as well. With all these issues we’re wondering can something be done to rectify the situation?

Tales of Symphonia Remastered Bug Fix

If you’re looking for a quick fix and you want Tales of Symphonia to get fixed, unfortunately, we don’t have any new updates on this. It looks like the game is going to need a seriously big patch to fix all of the bugs and glitches we’ve come across. It’s a bad port that needs fixing and the developers haven’t voiced their concern for the game. Perhaps in the future we can get these issues fixed. Once the game is fixed we can properly traverse around Sylvarant and enjoy the game to the fullest. Until then, we’re setting down our Switch and giving it a break.
