How to Fix Bugs and Glitches in Rumbleverse

Hmm, that's not supposed to bend like that...

The world within the wrestling ring is undoubtedly a strange one, full of undead superhumans and child custody papers in rafter-suspended suitcases. However, there are some things that definitely aren’t supposed to happen in the ring, even in the city-spanning ring of Rumbleverse. Here’s how to fix bugs and glitches in Rumbleverse.

How to Fix Bugs and Glitches in Rumbleverse

Let’s address a few different kinds of bugs and problems you may encounter while playing Rumbleverse. Bear in mind that this list is by no means exhaustive, so if you’ve got a gripe that’s not covered here, contact the game’s official support staff for focused aid.

For now, let’s focus on the following issues:

  • Controller Problems
  • Installation Problems
  • Display Problems
  • Crashing or Freezing

Controller Problems

You won’t be nearly dexterous enough to bodyslam a guy if you can’t move. If you’re trying to play with a controller and it isn’t working, the first thing you should try is unplugging it and plugging it back in. You can also try different USB ports on your computer in case the one you were using is faulty somehow.

If the game still refuses to read your controller, one thing you can try is adding the game to a third-party launcher like Steam and setting up a controller profile. It’s a bit of an unwieldy approach, as it requires both Steam and the Epic Games Store to be running, but it can work.

Installation Problems

Can’t wrestle in a ring that doesn’t exist. If you’re having trouble getting Rumbleverse to install on your machine, the most likely culprit is insufficient hard drive space. Try deleting some stuff, preferably other games, in order to make some room.

Alternatively, if your computer has an anti-virus (which it should), it may be messing with the installation automatically. Check your anti-virus settings and set up an exception for Rumbleverse so it lets the game install and run.

Display Problems

You can’t take someone to suplex city if you can’t see where it is. If the game isn’t loading properly or you’re just getting a black screen, first try ALT-Tabbing out of the game, then back into it to refresh it.

After that, check the display drivers for your graphics card and update them if you don’t have the latest version. It’s also possible that your graphics card doesn’t meet the requirements, so check them out on the Epic Games Store to verify.

Crashing or Freezing

Who poured liquid nitrogen all over the ring?! Freezes or crashes, much like installation problems, could be the result of a nosy anti-virus. Again, add an exception for Rumbleverse, or just temporarily disable your anti-virus.

If your computer isn’t beefy enough to meet the game’s recommended specs, your PC could crash from the strain. Try turning down the graphical settings, running it in a different screen mode, or disabling advanced visual features to try and lower the strain. You may also have a corrupted file from a bad installation. Try deleting Rumbleverse from your PC and installing it again to clean things up.

Again, if your problem isn’t covered here, contact Rumbleverse support, or visit their Twitter page for more details.
