How to Find Register Buttons in Hello Neighbor 2 – All Locations

Cha-ching.

Cash registers are really only secure because there’s usually someone standing in front of them. They’re not a great place to hide important things, especially since they’re the first place someone would look. Then again, if you can’t open it, it works a lot better, but there’s a solution to that as well. Here’s how to find register buttons in Hello Neighbor 2.

How to Find Register Buttons in Hello Neighbor 2 – All Locations

On the second day, you’ll need to make your way into the Mayoral Mansion to search for clues, but the door is locked and the key is missing. As it so happens, the key is stashed inside the Bakery’s cash register, but the register is missing some buttons, keeping you from opening the drawer. You’ll need to find the buttons and place them back into the register to open the drawer and claim your prize.

You can obtain the missing buttons in any order, though bear in mind that each button has its own puzzle associated with it. The missing buttons are as follows:

  • The 7 button
  • The 5 button
  • The 1 button
  • The 6 button

The 7 Button

To find the 7 button, leave the bakery and take the ladder on your left up to the building’s second floor. Sneak into the window, then into the bedroom. You should see a large patch over the wall; tear it off to claim the clock hand. Immediately behind you is an analog clock with a hand missing. Stick the hand on there and set the clock to the current time, 10:35. The clock will pop open, revealing the 7 button.

The 5 Button

To find the 5 button, head around to the side of the bakery and step into the window. Close the door first so no one hears you, then grab the red valve handle off the wall. Climb the ladder and sneak into the second floor again. In the bathroom next to the bedroom, there’s a boiler; stick the valve handle on and crank it up. Go out the bathroom window to the balcony, where you’ll see plants turned yellow by the boiler’s heat. Use trimmers to snip the center plant, revealing the 5 button.

The 1 Button

When Gerda the Baker is walking around the outside of the Bakery, sneak up behind her and swipe the key from her back pocket. Use this key to open up the refrigerator in the Bakery and grab the fish from the middle shelf. Take the fish around to the bakery’s furthest back door to find Gerda’s cat. Feed it the fish and it’ll hand over the 1 button.

The 6 Button

Sneak into the Bakery’s kitchen and open the large freezer to find an ice cube. Toss the ice cube in the brick oven next to the door to melt it, then grab the fire extinguisher off the far wall to put it out. When the flames are extinguished, grab the key. In the event Gerda stops you and takes the key, you can swipe it from the freezer before it refreezes. With the key in hand, return to the second floor and open the diary on the table in the living room, within which you’ll find the 6 button.

Opening the Register

Return all of the buttons to the register while Gerda isn’t looking. You’ll need to punch in a certain number combination to open the drawer; the answer is on the poster right next to the register. Punch in 1576, and the drawer will open, revealing the Mansion key.

Why did Gerda split up her register’s buttons to hide a key to a mansion she doesn’t even live in? Well, that’s up to you to discern, now isn’t it?
