The shop is a hop, skip, and a jump away from where you might think it is.

Traversing the vast areas around Hogwarts can seem like a daunting task. Where the game will help you is giving you familiar locales, to help the player have a condensed group of shops nearby. This is where Hogsmeade comes in very handy. A place for witches and wizards to find new side quests, as well as buy and sell various items and gear. Eventually, after acquiring the Room of Requirement, you’ll want to purchase some seeds to help grow certain magical plants. Dogweed and Deathcap is going to be where you will find all of these needs and more. Let’s hop on a Thestral and figure out how to find Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogwarts Legacy.

Players might be having difficulty finding this shop, because it technically isn’t in Hogsmeade. While it shows up only on the Hogsmeade map, you wouldn’t know it’s a part of it unless you scrolled to the top of the map. Due to layout of the UI, the icon is seemingly covered completely unless you were to move the map.

If you go to the top of the Hogsmeade map, you will see a mushroom-like icon, and hovering over it will let you know it is Dogweed and Deathcap. You’ll have to cross a bridge on your way to get there if you’re in town, but it’s a relatively small jog away. Sadly, unless you stare at your map and analyze it constantly, this might be a shop that can easily breeze past your line of sight when quickly trying to fast travel. But a useful shop nonetheless, as you can buy seeds to grow plants such as Mandrakes, Venomous Tentacula, and more.
