How to find Dittany Leaves in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is of course full of spells and potions. Potions require lots of unique items and ingredients. Some of these ingredients are harder to find than others. Other ingredients you need because of how much of the potion it makes you’ll be using. The Wiggenweld Potion is the healing potion for the game. To make the Wiggenweld Potion you need Dittany Leaves. There are some prerequisites to obtaining the leaves and being allowed to make your own potions, however. Here’s how to find Dittany Leaves in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Obtain Dittany Leaves

For a while, you can only buy potions at Hogsmeade. You can only start making your own potions after you’ve completed the Herbology Class part of the main game storyline. Once you complete it you’ll get access to a store in Hogsmeade called The Magic Neep.

In the Magic Neep you can buy all sorts of ingredients and items for potions and other things. This includes Dittany Seeds that you will be growing yourself. You have to pay attention and grow your dittany seeds into plants just like real plants. Once they are fully grown you can harvest the seeds.

This is how you keep a steady supply of Dittany Leaves for your healing potion. To make the potion however you must then also complete the Potion classes part of the main storyline to actually make the Wiggenweld potions and other potions as well.

Once you have done all these required steps you just have to find a potion station. A potion station allows you to make any potion you’ve learned in the game so far. The main potion station is located in the Potions Classroom and you can go and use it any time.
