How to Find Ammo in Scorn

If there’s one game that is kicking off the Halloween season the right way, it’s Ebb Software’s own Scorn. A survival horror that has visuals and art style similar to the Alien franchise, there’s a lot to love both in gameplay and visuals. It’s a game that certainly has a large number of puzzles to solve in order to progress through the story. But how can you expect to continue on with the story if you can’t even defend yourself against the game’s enemies? If you’re wondering where to find ammo in Scorn, then we have the answer for ya!

How to Find Ammo in Scorn

Over the course of your time with Scorn, you aren’t going to come in contact with a large arsenal of guns, as this game is pretty limited in the amount of firepower it puts in your hands. In fact, the first couple of levels or so will have you limited to a bolt gun of sorts. This weapon does not require any kind of ammo, as stamina is what it runs off of.

Though, that’s not to say that you aren’t going to need any sort of ammo at some point, as there are weapons that require you to have ammo in order to actually use them. And if you wanna stand a chance against any of the horrific enemies within Scorn, you’ll need to find some, and often.

In order to grab some additional ammo for any weapons that you need it for (aside from grenade launchers), you’ll want to swing by ammo stations that are located around the map of each level. These are cabinets that will open as you get close to them, revealing their wears in an ananotomic-looking fashion.

These cabinets can typically be found within the same room where you get your gun, but be weary as these will not be replenished after you’ve taken some from them. Grenade launchers require their own ammo but you won’t find them here, instead, you’ll earn ammo for this weapon by killing bosses and looting the machine from their backs.
