You better seize this opportunity to make yourself quite knowledgeable. Here is how to farm profession Knowledge in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.

Non-Repeatable Knowledge Points

  • First Time Recipes: in every crafting profession, you will be awarded 1 Knowledge, 5 Artisan’s Mettle, and Experience for every time you craft a recipe. This means that if you craft all the recipes once, you will receive the same rewards for all of them. No, you don’t need to use the resulting items or products.

  • Hidden Profession Masters: all throughout the Dragon Isles, there are Profession Masters that will teach you the best out of their craft. The best part is, you don’t need to do anything besides talking to them! Be ready to collect those Knowledge points.
  • Static Knowledge Points Treasures: scattered around the world, you will find Profession-specific treasures that you will be able to collect, as long as you have that profession. They will store items that will grant you +3 Knowledge points.
  • Reputation Rewards with Renown: if you belong to any faction, you will know that you can gain Renown. Now, Renown will also grant you Knowledge as well. Renown 14 grants +5 Knowledge and Renown 24 grants +10 Knowledge.
  • Artisan Consortium Profession Notes: locate Rabul in Valdrakken. He will be able to sell you some research notes to accumulate +15 Knowledge to the skill of your choice. Each research note will increase in price, however, and you will need a lot of Artisan’s Mettle to do this.

Repeatable Knowledge Points

  • Rare Side Gathers: when handling gathering professions, from time to time you will be able to encounter items that will grant you +1 to +3 Knowledge points. +1 items are very common, while +3 items can only be found once per week.
