The mobile space strategy videogame Star Trek: Fleet Command, which is based around the established lore from the fictional Star Trek universe, is one of the most recent additions to the Star Trek brand. Constructing and managing their own fleets of ships, exploring space, acquiring resources, fighting either bots or in PvP, and other activities are all available to players. In addition to specifically made unique material, the game has spaceships and fan-favorite characters from other Star Trek content as well. Throughout the game, your main goal is to constantly grow your influence by fighting off your enemies and befriending powerful allies, as well as increasing your own strength.
One of the most instrumental parts to Star Trek: Fleet Command is the requirement to harvest resources in the game for your own purposes, or to sell. Because of this deep-seated need for different materials, players are often left spending a lot of time attempting to gather specific resources when they need them. Additionally, there are always pirates (be they NPCs or other players) that are on the lookout to steal hard-earned resources. Sometimes, there are easier methods of obtaining some materials than you would expect, and in this guide we explain how to farm Dilithium.

How to Quickly Gather Dilithium in Star Trek: Fleet Command
Dilithium is a rare and highly valuable resource which has many purposes in Star Trek: Fleet Command. Some of these include upgrading your station and ships, through conducting research to improve them. Although there is a way to create Dilithium within your own station, this process is slow, time consuming and yields very little compared to mass-mining the material. Mining is the best method for obtaining a large amount of Dilithium in a short time period, however many other players are looking for the same resource and thus it can be hard to find good mines.
Therefore, to find lots of Dilithium to mine, head for areas of space that are less occupied than others. Places such as Rigel, Clytomenes and others are also often very abundant in the precious resource. One tip for mining Dilithium is that it is often located close to Tritanium, so searching near one element to find the other is not a bad idea. Be sure to watch your protected cargo limit, as more veteran gamers may try to take you out if they see you’re carrying Dilithium and they have a need for it, which is likely due to its rarity. Good luck in your quest to find Dilithium, and happy gaming!
