Although there is a way to create Dilithium within your own station, this process is slow, time consuming and yields very little compared to mass-mining the material. Therefore, to find lots of Dilithium to mine, head for areas of space that are less occupied than others. Places such as Rigel, Clytomenes and others are also often very abundant in the precious resource. One tip for mining Dilithium is that it is often located close to Tritanium, so searching near one element to find the other is not a bad idea.
