Disney Dreamlight Valley is the second coming of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It allows players to experience the most sought-after fantasies: owning — and expanding — a home. It’s every millennial and zoomer’s fantasy made reality, with the added bonus of being able to meet and befriend Mickey Mouse. As you continue to play through the various quests, you’ll be given the option to expand your abode. But, also like in New Horizons, it won’t come cheap! Here’s how to expand your Dreamlight Valley house.
How to Expand a House in Dreamlight Valley
In order to play the game of capitalism, you’ll have to do a favor for the king of capitalism, Scrooge McDuck. If you complete the Dreamlight Valley Economy 101 quest, McDuck will install an elevator within your house. Kinda intrusive, but OK. This is where you’re gonna be glad you’ve been collecting Star Coins.
It’d seem that each expansion of your floor plan will cost more, so save up a pile of change before you start to renovate. It’s really that simple; the biggest challenge will be acquiring the required currency to spend. But, there are multiple methods of farming Star Coins, so give one of them a shot!
