Bethesda has given me great memories and some, well, let’s say less than great. Having said that, Fallout 4 had some big shoes to fill after the masterpiece that was Fallout 3, so the expectations were sky-high when it was released in 2016. Ultimately, the game was extremely well received and also performed really well commercially. Bethesda did the impossible. Nowadays, Fallout 4 is the go-to Fallout game, taking into the account the updated graphics and gameplay. One of the things that were changed in this installment of the series was the Power Armor. The ability to customize each piece and not having to train at all to use it was something that the fans were very thankful for. Having said that, here is how to exit Power Armor in Fallout 4.

How to Exit Power Armor in Fallout 4

In order to exit the Power Armor, be sure to find a location that is secure in order to leave it there. Otherwise, you will lose your armor and then tears will ensue. Following that, you will just need to hold a button in order to exit your Power Armor in Fallout 4. It will vary depending on the platform you’re playing in, as well as if you have edited your controls. Here are the default inputs in order to exit the Power Armor, depending on your platform:

  • PlayStation: you will have to press and hold the X button.
  • Xbox: you will have to press and hold the A button.
  • PC: you will have to press and hold the E button.

Quite easy right? Just beware of where you leave your Power Armor in this post-apocalyptic world, and you’re good to go.
