When you think you’ve got what it takes to perform in the highest echelon of American football, you better be prepared to show it. In Madden 24, teams aren’t just going to let you waltz onto the team without showing what you’re made of. This is why in real life, the NFL Scouting Combine is the perfect platform to do just that. And in the new year of Madden, gamers can put themselves further in the shoes of a player trying to make it to the league. We’re going to start the clock and figure out how to do the 40 yard dash in Madden 24.
How to Do the 40 Yard Dash in Madden 24
The 40 yard dash is one of many minigames you can participate in while playing Madden 24. To do so, you’ll want to start Superstar mode, create a character, and select ‘Start New Career’. You’ll be immediately thrown into the combine, consisting of a few events to perform in. These will help determine where you’ll be drafted, so making sure you ace these performances is key. The first event you’ll have to do is the bench press, and after finishing up you’ll then move on to the moment we’ve been waiting for.

The 40 yard dash is the second NFL Combine event you’ll get to do when starting out in Superstar mode. You’ll be able to retry this event, as well as any others should you choose to try and get a better result. As we stated earlier, how you perform in these mini-games will transfer to what teams want to pick you up, and when. A good performance, and you’re looking at a early 1st round draft into the NFL. Failure or below average performance will garner zero interest for the teams, leaving you to languish and potentially not get drafted.
