You’re into a clash filled with rails and chaos, in Chaos Island, with the Chaos Emerald. Everything is Chaos in this game, for good or bad. Sonic Frontiers offers a good number of boss fights for you to put your hedgehog abilities to the test, and demonstrate that not everything is speed, sometimes wits and strategy is the way to go. Battling Knight is not the exception this time, so be sure to prepare yourself for an iconic battle with a really, and I mean, really massive foe. Now, don’t worry, its name has nothing to do with Sonic and the Black Knight, so that’s some relief for you. Here is how to defeat Knight in Sonic Frontiers.
How to Defeat Knight in Sonic Frontiers
This is a multiphase battle, so buckle up for some intense fighting. Reading the opponent and optimizing your timing is the way to go, so be extra careful because Knight sure does have a temper, and he will not hold back on its tantrums in order to hit and defeat you. Just follow these steps in order to defeat Knight in Sonic Frontiers.
- Wait for Knight to drop his hand on the grown in order to reach him.
- Climb on the rails of his hand to climb his body.
- Get all the way up to his head and interact with the Chaos Emerald to become Super Sonic.
- To deliver some damage, you must hit Knight in the head. Make sure to time your attacks and wait for an opening where he is not protecting himself with his shield.
- Be sure to counter his attacks in order to destabilize him and make things a little bit easier.
- Afterwards, the second phase will start with a cutscene in which you will lose your rings and get stuck climbing Knight’s shield.
- Avoid incoming missiles and go after Knight, this will trigger the third phase.
- Knight will begin to swing his shield around the arena as if there is no tomorrow.
- Use your parry to intercept the shield swings. This will immobilize him and be the perfect opportunity for you to deliver some of your hedgehog blows.
- Keep expecting Knight’s attacks, continue countering and attacking and you will defeat him.
This fight is reminiscent to the Giganto fight, so be sure to be very precise and work on your parry abilities. If practiced, you will be able to defeat Knight with no issue at all. Go ahead and use your abilities to take down this behemoth.
