How to Customize Character in Demonologist

Black Tie Event or Boxers Only?

Nothing is more important in the Ghost Hunting world than showing up to an Exorcism dressed in full drip. Every stage is a runway after all and having those Ghosts seeing your TikTok Outfit of the Day can be the thing that sends them back to the Hell that they came from. So, being able to Customize your Character in Demonologist just makes sense, regardless on if you are playing with your friends or as a solo Ghost Hunter. You always need to show up, outfit wise, after all, the Ghosts can tell if you are scared or not. But having on a good outfit can make you the most confident Ghost Hunter in the room. For those reasons, this guide will show you how to Customize your Character in Demonologist.

How to Customize your Character in Demonologist

Before you head into a match to begin your investigation and Exorcism, you need to check your drip. This can be done inside the Shivers Real Estate. Here you can upgrade your Main Office before heading into the main part of the game based on your total Experience Points gained throughout your playthrough. To Customize your Character however, this can be found in the Main Menu and on the Title Screen which should be the first screen you see on the monitors inside the Estate. Click ‘Customize Character’ icon underneath your playable Character which Gamer Journalist believes always begins with white man with boxers on. Whilst this is a look in itself, it can get rather chilly within the walls of the haunted place you are diving into. Best not to rock this if you are trying to make a name for yourself as a Ghost Hunter.

With the Customization Menu open, you can either edit your Character’s Wardrobe or Appearance. From here you can alter the physique and sex. Keep in mind that when purchasing Clothes via the Shop that you filter by sex as unfortunately Clothing Items are gendered in this game and so if you purchase a Men’s Hoodie, you will not be able to put it on your Female Character in the Customization Menu. Refer to the icon of Man or Woman (Priest/Priestess) next to the Item you are thinking of buying. Your sex is changed at the Presets Tab at the bottom of the screen before going into the Customization. When diving more into what customization options are available in the game from Clothing to Appearance, be sure to click on the Dots in the upper-right corner of the screen to see all options.
