The Trial of Bravery is a part of a bigger quest called Bane of Dragons. To complete the whole Bane of Dragons you will need to go through the Trial of Knowledge and Trial of Endurance alongside the Trial of Bravery.

Nevertheless, the Trial of Bravery will be complete once you kill a Dragon and take Dragon Heart loot from it. Now, this may sound simple but experience has shown that it isn’t.

There won’t be an abundance of Dragons laying around waiting to be slain, instead, they will spawn from time to time. The problem is that even when they do spawn, there will be other people hunting them as well and they will kill them easily in under a minute. This is why you need to chase a Dragon to the spawn point or locate its spawn points and camp there until it appears.

You will need to hit the Dragon only once or twice for the game to register that you were participating in a battle and give you the Dragon Heart reward. To make this quest easier, try joining one of the groups that are hunting Dragons. They have experience in this and you will only need to follow them and do what they do.
