Octopath Traveler 2 tells you pretty much everything that you need to know about the game simply by reading its name. Okay, not everything that Square Enix developed, but a lot of the game’s basic idea is in the title. There are eight characters in this videogame that you will be able to control as you travel the world, and they all have separate storylines that you’ll need to complete in order to take on the final post-game boss known as Galdera. Explore and defeat enemies as you acquire new items and weapons for your cute characters in this awesome RPG! There are plenty of different side quests and missions in Octopath Traveler 2, and in this guide we are going to cover one of the more satiable quests, which is called Culinary Cunning!

How Do You Beat Culinary Cunning in Octopath Traveler 2?
In order to complete this quest in the game, players will need to first discover the region of Toto’haha. No, this place is not laughing at you, so don’t get fed up with the name that easily! There is a villager in this area who will assign you the Culinary Cunning quest, which will require you to find a sweet food recipe for the villager. This NPC is known as the Cooking Enthusiast, and he is in the western part of Beasting Village.
Your next step in this mission is to head into the Beasting Bay: Anchorage zone where you’ll need to visit Tropu’hopu. Travel due north towards the Floating Theater area and speak with a merchant who is operating a food stall there. Use some of your information Path Actions such as Inquire, Bribe, Coerce and Scrutinize in order to obtain the Spicy Chicken Recipe. Once you are done that, head back to Beasting Village and hand off the recipe to the Cooking Enthusiast. Congratulations, and well done in your quest!
What Are the Rewards for Completing This Quest?
After you have finished the Culinary Cunning mission, the Cooking Enthusiast will reward you with 3,000 Leaves and a Gluttonous Glaive spear-like weapon which you can use. These are well worth the effort required to obtain the Spicy Chicken Recipe, especially since you now own a super cool spear!
