If you’re anything like me, then you have really been enjoying the latest Halloween-themed inclusions that came along with Disney Dreamlight Valley’s latest update, Scar’s Kingdom. You have the new Villains Star Path with great Halloween rewards to unlock as well as some spooky good fun to be had with new Halloween-themed Dreamlight Duties to complete for additional rewards. One that’s really been putting strain on players though has been the 3-Course Halloween Meal Dreamlight Duty, but luckily for you, we finally know how to beat it! Let’s explain how to do it!
How to Complete A 3-Course Halloween Meal Dreamlight Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The first thing you’re going to want to do is to locate the 3-Course Halloween Meal Dreamlight Duty. To find it, pause your game and head to the Dreamlight page. Next, scroll down to the Village tab and you’ll find the 3-Course Halloween Meal Dreamlight Duty from the bottom of that page.
As with all of these Halloween-themed Dreamlight Duties, they are incredibly vague and do not offer insight onto what you actually need to do in order to complete them. This one may sound like you need to cook a perfect set of meals to complete it but that would be misdirection as that isn’t the goal here at all.
What you’ll actually need to do in order to complete this Dreamlight Duty is to locate and consume three different colored pieces of candy from various kinds of Halloween Candy Buckets. These buckets look similar to the reward ones you can unlock but have that shimmery glow that most foraging items give off.

These buckets spawn randomly but can often be found in the starting areas of The Plaza and Peaceful Meadow as these are locations most players inhabit as they’re easily accessible for new players. Just interact with a bucket and it will drop candy for you to eat.
There are a number of different colors you’ll find and you’ll need to make sure you eat three different colors in order to complete it. You can figure out what color each is by checking in your inventory. Once you’ve eaten all three, you’ll be rewarded with a candy bucket of your own; the Green Trick or Treater’s Bounty Bucket. Be sure to claim it on your Dreamlight page and you’ll be able to use it to decorate wherever you’d like!
