How to Claim Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Imperial Edition Skins

Serving the God-Emperor in style

Warhammer 40K: Darktide has much more customization than the Vermintide predecessors. You are able to customize even the back stories and origins now, and have a great choice of tattoos, hairstyles, and even body postures. Most of the customizations you will be unlocking as you play and progress the game, to deck out your character in style. However, those who bought the Imperial Edition will have access to a whole bunch of exclusive cosmetics to stand out. But how do you claim them if you’ve bought it? Here is how to claim the the Imperial Editions skins in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

Why don’t you have the skins?

If you’ve shelled out an extra $30, then you may have been confused to not have received the cosmetics when playing the closed beta. You may have felt frustrated to see that when you opened the character customisation menu, your paid for cosmetics were nowhere to be seen.

This is not the case of unclaimed cosmetics, or having to activate your purchase. This is merely down to the fact that the Imperial Edition is part of the full release, and you are playing the closed beta.

Despite your purchase, the Imperial Edition technically hasn’t been released yet, you have pre-ordered the skins, not bought them yet. Unfortunately, you will have to wait until the game releases to get your hands on the cool skins.

So for now, you won’t be able to experience the clean look of those Imperial warriors.

Possible ways to claim

When the game does get fully released on the 30th November, then your game should boot up and already have all of the skins that you paid for in your cosmetics inventory. Considering you have purchased a separate edition, you shouldn’t have to do anything your end at all.

Just note that due to having your beta progress being transitioned to the full release, there may be some transition issues that the devs will hopefully be able to mitigate or solve. If you cannot find your skins and cosmetics anywhere, reach out to their customer support.
