How to Change the Color of an Item in Hogwarts Legacy

In the ‘Interior Design’ Quest, you will learn how to change the color of an item. You will also learn how to rotate, adjust size and place down items within a room. How to Change Item Color

In the Room of Requirement, players will have the opportunity to transform the room to their liking and chosen aesthetic. You can change its layout, what items or decorations belong inside and what overall ‘feel’ you want the room to have. As players will spend a lot of their free time inside these four walls, it is to no surprise that a huge part of customization is on what the Room of Requirement looks like. You will be able to add objects as crafted by blueprints, purchased at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade. With these items, players can rotate and alter the items size when placing it into its appropriate position.

In order to alter anything in the room however, you must require the Transfiguration spell. Transfiguration is taught to you by Professor Weasley, allowing you to change the size and color of items that you have placed inside the Room of Requirements. By using this spell you will be able to alter the overall aesthetic of an item, including furniture and crests. Such items that can be changed are Potion Stations which you can change the size and where they sit on the floor, rotating them to sit exactly where you would like.

To change the color of an item for PC users, you will need to hit the ‘F’ key. On PlayStation you need to hit ‘Square’ and on Xbox the button to press is ‘B’. From here, options will be shown to you at the bottom of the screen. Shift through until you find the one that fits the look you are going for.
