How to Change Equipment in Madden 24

Can the newly branded and shiny shoes make up for the same game year after year?

If there’s one thing that the Madden franchise has attempted to do every year, it’s accurately update the game. And Madden 24 is no different, aiming to try and slap a new coat of paint on their yearly franchise, this time for an increased price. There are a lot of interesting changes this time around, and players are attempting to figure out all the new systems. One of these systems, is Franchise mode, a program synonymous with the series for some time now. Developers have aimed to add a little extra to this game, by changing up how gear can be placed onto players. We’re going to roll out of the pocket and figure out how to change equipment in Madden 24.

When you load into the game, you’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of menus on the title screen. You’ll want to go ahead and make your way to the Creation Center in the bottom right-hand side of the screen. From there you’ll want to go to edit rosters, and then select manage players. Find the player whose equipment you want to change, or create a new character to change theirs from the start.

Select your respective player, and scroll all the way down the Player Info tab until you see ‘Edit Appearance‘. You’ll now be able to see the player, and by choosing ‘Edit Gear’, you’ll be able to fully customize their equipment. Madden 24 seems to have further delved into name brands, with every helmet being branded with their real-life counterparts. The same can also be said for sleeves, gloves, cleats, and more. So make sure your character is decked out in the latest Nike, and get ready to step foot on the field. Hopefully the stadiums have the correct years on their signs.
