Hogwarts Legacy is already becoming a staple of many gamers around the world, with its unique combat system, incredible graphics and attention to all the little details that make a videogame truly wonderful. Based in the Harry Potter universe but set a century before in 1890, this game has all of the worldbuilding charm that J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World does but without none of its plot baggage. The result? A fantastic and original story in a setting that fans know and love. Players will attend Hogwarts as witches and wizards, working to learn spells just like Harry Potter and his friends do.

This game comes with a lot of great features that will surely improve your immersion into its magical world. One of these is the ability to tame beasts in the game, and keep them as pets in your Vivarium or sell them in Hogsmeade (for a hefty sum of 120 Galleons, no less). How Do You Get Shiny Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy?

It can be pretty cool to have your own pet Niffler, or ride on a Hippogriff in Hogwarts Legacy. However, the Shiny versions of beasts in the game are even more beautiful to look at. Therefore, we have created a guide on how to catch and tame shiny beasts in this exhilarating Harry Potter videogame.

• Firstly, you must be able to catch beasts in general. This can be done by completing the quest that grants you the Room of Requirement, where you will then unlock the Nab-Sack and a Vivarium.
• Shiny beasts do not always have an extremely noticeable color difference when compared to their basic fellows. Keep your eyes peeled for small changes amongst beasts of a same species.
• You are able to capture Shiny beasts like their normal brothers and sisters, by going to Beast Dens and then using your Nab-Sack to catch them.
• Bring them back to your Vivarium and show them off to all of your friends (outside the game)!
