And what I learned in the hours I have invested in the game, is how to beat the Smoldering Warlock in Frozen Flame. Let me teach you my sacred knowledge, young padawan.
How to Beat the Smoldering Warlock
Now, don’t get fooled by the name of this mini-boss, it isn’t quite hard to beat him. After the 5th attempt, anyway. The Smoldering Warlock is one of the keepers of one of the four masks that the Search for the Keeper mission while require you to collect in order to activate a portal in the middle of the map. This fight is very particular. You see, this guy has the ability to summon fire (hence the smoldering) and will be able to do massive damage to you and your friends. In order to beat him, you will have to fight fire with fire. And in this case, it is quite literally that. Make sure you have some clothes on to defend yourself and also for some decency. Please.
In order to beat the Smoldering Warlock, the most important thing you’re going to have to do is to craft a Wooden Staff. With it, you’ll be able to shoot fire projectiles, costing you some stamina. In this case, the best strategy to defeat the Smoldering Warlock, or at least what worked for me, is to keep your distance and shoot your fire projectiles with your Wooden Staff while also dodging his attacks. It will take a bit, but you will find yourself victorious after a little struggle.
