How Many Eggs Can You Hold in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Let's hatch some eggs in Pokemon!

There was a time when Pokemon required us to head over to the nursery where you would drop off your desired Pokemon, preferably Ditto and whoever else you wanted to breed, and leave them there for an assorted amount of time. You’d go out exploring, battling, and whatever else you wanted to accomplish for the day. When it’s time to pick up your Pokemon you’d go back to the nursery and you’d discover an egg was left there. Today, times are different, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have a new way of making babies. This is through the picnic system they have implemented and now you can carry even more eggs than before. Egg capacity in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

If you’re like us you have been playing Pokemon for some time now. You know in order to get any type of egg from a Pokemon doesn’t require gender limitations if you have a Ditto. Using a Ditto for breeding is the best choice because Ditto can breed with anyone. If you wanted to create an egg the old fashioned way you’re going to want to pick the desired Pokemon and find the opposite sex. Set up your picnic table and create a sandwich to help boost egg power. After some time you’ll check your basket next to your picnic table and you’ll find an egg. You can carry up to 10 eggs at a time in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Shiny Breeding in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Breeding has become a popular way to acquire a shiny Pokemon. As with any shiny method it requires patience. You can breed your Pokemon until a shiny one hatches from an egg. There are a few ways you can boost your shiny rating and that requires you to make Sparkling Power Sandwiches, acquiring a Shiny Charm (you can get this after you’ve completed the PokeDex from the Director of the Academy), and defeating 60 or more Pokemon from mass outbreaks. Remember that there is a 1/4096 shiny rate and using the elements we have suggested can help boost those odds drastically! Go our there and breed some shiny Pokemon!
