When it comes to maneuvering with your horse, there are a few things on the table. Not only can you walk your horse, but you can trot around, canter, sprint, and jump. But sprinting and jumping, along with uphill riding cost stamina which can regenerate over time. Good timing in button presses and rhythm will make your horse’s stamina last longer.

Additional horse maneuvers include sliding which is great for cutting tight corners, as well as the ability for you to duck while on a horse which allows you to pass under obstacles. These come into play most during races and things like that.

Each horse in Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch has its own set of attributes, having advantages and disadvantages. There are 5 different attributes that can be improved over time, just by playing the game and caring for your horse. The attributes include Endurance, Agility, Strength, Charisma, and Luck.

The more you interact with your horse, the more connected you become. You can pet your horse, feed them, brush them, lead them around, and perform other horse care to improve its stats. Horses also have their own profile pages that highlight their likes and dislikes, family tree, stats, notes, conditions, and traits.

Traits are important because they can highlight certain things about horses that you can break them of. If your horse is a lazy jumper, try jumping a lot to break them of that flaw. This page is your best fallback when needing to sort out what to do next with them. There’s also a quest page dedicated to your horse, showing the quests you need to complete for them in order for them to become stronger in their stats.

Well, now you know absolutely everything this is to know about horses in Horse Tales: Emerald Valley Ranch, and can properly care for yours!
