How Flip a Dugbog While it is Waiting to Use a Sneak Attack in Hogwarts Legacy – Combat Guide

The element of surprise

The Dueling Feats in Hogwarts Legacy provide players with different Challenges to face, up against the various creatures of Hogwarts. By completing these Challenges, players can unlock new gear or cosmetic items as a reward to finishing a specific amount of these Feats. Each Feat however, requires you to face a different enemy under bizarre circumstances. Where players are asked to not just defeat an opponent but to humiliate them on the battlefield. Not only are these Challenges something new to engage in but, it provides new combative skills that will not have learnt if it was not for the Dueling Feats. Therefore, this is our guide on how to successfully flip a Dugbog while it is waiting to use a Sneak Attack.

How to Flip a Dugbog Waiting to Perform a Sneak Attack

For this Dueling Feats you are tasked to attack a Dugbog and successfully flip the creature whilst it waits to perform a Sneak Attack. These creatures will wait inside tall grass within swampy biomes. Therefore, players need to head to the Regions such as South Sea Bog for the Dugbog spawns. As these creatures are hard to see when hiding from any prey that may walk past, you should use the Spell Revelio to see any Dugbogs that may be nearby. You should isolate these creatures, rather than try to fight multiple at once, so be sure to target any Dugbogs that are riding solo in the wilderness.

When you find your target, cast Disillusionment, a key Spell used to get into places where you should not be seen. You will have used this Spell throughout your wizarding adventure so you will be well versed in using it. You need to get behind the Dugbog and line up either your cursor or right analog stick to be pointing at the Creature’s back. When you are ready, use the Spell Flipendo to flip the Dugbog onto its back. By casting this Spell correctly, you will have successfully flipped the Dugbog, completing this Feats Challenge.

Combat Guide Against a Dugbog

When fighting a Dugbog, you can easily defeat these by using the Spell Levioso. However the timing of using this Spell is crucial, similar to flipping a Dugbog in the first place. Of course, you can continue to use damaging Spells against the flipping Dugbog but if it somehow ends up upright again, you need to time the use of Levioso when the Dugbog sticks out his tongue. Alternatively, use Flipendo after dodging a leaping Dugbog. You main means of attacking is after either flipping the Dugbog or lifting the Creature up via its tongue, using Levioso. Use attacking Spells such as Diffindo to take the Creature down.

How to Unlock Flipendo

For those who have not yet unlocked the Flipendo Spell, you can get this by completing Professor Garlick’s Fluxweed Assignment in Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry. You will need this Spell for multiple Dueling Feats Challenges, such as Flipping a Troll’s Club and a Dugbog (mid-attack).
