How to Change Your Look

Right away the first thing you will need to do is not have any other menu of the game open. While in control of your character in the overworld, press the Left button on your D-pad to directly access the outfit customization menu. The tab you’re looking for is the third from the right, in shape of a hat. Use your joystick or your D-pad to move until the hat icon is highlighted yellow. From there you then need to hover over the hat you currently have equipped. To remove it now all you need to do is press X! You should now be hat-free. To save your changes, press B and select Yes when the game asks if you’d like to save your current outfit.

Other Customization Options

Why stop with just the hat? From the same menu you can also try on or take off other accessories or clothing. The game from the very start gives you some options to play around with. Right away, you can dress your character closer to how you want them to look. You can also use this menu to Change the case on your Rotom Phone or customize your facial features any time you want. If you aren’t happy with your eye, lash, brow, lip color or shape, you can fix them just how you want at any time. Use the + (Plus) button on your controller to switch from the Change Outfit menu to the Change Look menu.
