High speed, blue hedgehog, boss battles and lots and lots of gold rings. Sonic Frontiers, while not being the greatest game of all time, surely blows some new life to the Sega mascot’s franchise. And while running at the speed of light surely sounds very enticing and also physically impossible, at least by our real world standards, there are more abilities and things to do in Sonic Frontiers. One of those abilities is the Light Dash, which will become very useful in the game. How do you Light Dash in Sonic Frontiers? Well, don’t panic, here is everything you need to know about it.
How do you Light Dash in Sonic Frontiers?
So, if you’re like me, you could probably think that the Light Dash, by its fancy game, is an ability that will unlock by fulfilling something impossible or collecting infinite amount of resources. If so, you and I can continue to use our clown outfits, because this ability is usable from the start of the game. Oh boy, have RPGs really hurt us a lot. Anyway, here is how to Light Dash in Sonic Frontiers, you light-dashing maniacs.
- Firstly, Light Dash is an ability that will allow you to get to certain areas that seem unreachable. All you need to find is a series of consecutive golden rings.
- Once you reach those golden rings, you will use your Light Dash by pressing L3 (the left analog stick button), this will enable you to go all the way to the end of the golden ring series.
- If you combo this ability with a double jump (which resets whenever a Light Dash is performed), you will be able to reach areas that you would normally won’t be able to.
Light Dash is an ability unlocked from the start of the game. Although the game doesn’t teach you how to use it, it is a very valuable skill. Be sure to use it to explore the open-world of Sonic Frontiers. Go ahead and fly away with those golden rings!
