What is Pyramid Plunder? It’s a mini game you can play in order to get 99 thieving or to get your hands on the coveted Pharaoh’s Sceptre. The reason this sceptre is useful is because you can use it to give you extra teleporting locations around Kharidian Desert. Each time you use the staff you will use up to one charge and holds about three so be sure to charge it! In order to access Pyramid Plunder you will need to have your thieving to at least 21 and you need access to the city of Sophanem. Some of the quests you should take in order to gain better access to the pyramid are:
- Contact Quest – Bank of Sophanehm access

- Itchlarin’s Little Helper – Explores pyramids
How to Access Pyramid Plunder in OSRS
In order to get to Pyramid Plunder in Old School Runescape you need to travel to Sophanem. Sophanem will have an NPC you need to talk to whose name is Tarik. After you speak to Tarik you can enter the pyramid on either its four sides. Be careful, though! If you enter the pyramid and you notice that the room doesn’t take you into any other room it could be a fluke. Just walk out of the room and walk back into it to access Pyramid Plunder. If you’re in the right room you will gain 20 thieving points indicating you’re in the right place. In order to start the game you need to speak to a guardian mummy who will give you rules about the mini game.
How to Play Pyramid Plunder in OSRS
The game is quite simple. Your goal is to raid each room in under five minutes and steal as many artifacts as you can. The different rooms you will notice have urns, spears, sarcophagus, chests, and doors. Some of these items you choose to raid can hurt you, whereas others, will reward you with stones or gold. Another dangerous element to the game is when scarabs will swarm and poison you. Mummies also can attack you and they can be level 84. After you are finished with a room and have acquired plenty of artifacts you can trade them in for coins. Just speak with Simon Templeton at the Agility Pyramid, which is located near Sophanem.
