How Do You Get Clorthax’s Paradox Party Badge?

First, let’s cover how to get the badge from the sale minigame. This year’s Steam Summer Sale is brought to you by Clorthax, a trickster from the year 3000 who’s engaging in a bit of temporal chicanery for fun and profit.

Clorthax has hidden ten games from the future within the Steam catalog. Each game has an associated hint that’s revealed to you one after the other. The first game you find will unlock Clorthax’s Paradox Party badge on your profile, and every subsequent game will raise its tier, as well as unlock some cool avatar borders. Find all ten hidden games to max out the badge’s level.

How Do You Get the Steam 3000 Badge?

As for the Steam 3000 badge, you’re going to have to do this one the old-fashioned way. Every time you either buy games or clear out your daily Discovery Queue during the Steam Summer Sale, you’ll receive Summer Sale trading cards. There are ten cards in the Summer Sale set, and if you can collect, trade for, or buy all of them, you can craft the first tier of the Steam 3000 badge, as well as receive some nifty cosmetics for your profile.

You can keep collecting cards as long as the sale is running, and every time you complete the set, you can increase your badge tier, unlocking additional cosmetics as well.
