High on Life — How to Fix Krubis Glitch/Bug

Capping off a Very Frustrating Chapter with a Very Frustrating Bug

In High on Life’s second chapter, you’ll embark on a mission to eliminate one of the highest ranks in the G3 cartel. Krubis most definitely isn’t a pushover. But alas, an added layer of frustration has been added to this boss fight, according to some players. It appears a fair number of players are experiencing a bug or a glitch that makes this boss fight unbeatable. Read on to learn more, including any ways to fix it!

How to Fix Krubis Glitch/Bug

In the case of this odd bug, players report that Krubis will drill himself into the ground, but … won’t come back up. This makes it very difficult — nigh, impossible — to inflict further damage. What makes this bug peculiar is that it was supposedly patched in the update released December 16. So, the first thing about this bug that we can say is … it’s persistent.

What can you do to fix it, in that case? Aside from waiting for Squanch Games to issue another patch, there are some fixes you can try. But, these are less reliable “fixes” and may or may not work for you. To start, it would appear some victims of this bug have said patience has rewarded them here. It’d appear that simply waiting a bit longer than usual will coerce Krubis out of hiding. But even then, there’s always a chance his model will be invisible — except for some reason, his gun will still be visible, so just shoot at him and the model may come back as well.

If that doesn’t work, try making use of the grapple points scattered around the boss arena. It would seem that some players have reported this bug being resolved if they started swinging around like a lunatic. Sure, it might sound like a long shot … but that’s because it is? Speaking of long shots, you might want to try utilizing the Glob Shot function on your Gatlian. If neither of the above fixes do anything, sometimes you can shoot a Glob Shot in Krubis’ general direction (use your radar if you can’t see him) and he’ll pop back into existence.

We know these all sound like the rantings of a mad person. But, if none of these fixes work for you, one final resort exists. And, to be honest, this might be your best course of action. Reload … your checkpoint. I know, I know … it was hard for me to type, surely it was hard for you to read. But, hopefully when you’re back at the Krubis boss fight, this bug will have ironed itself out and you can wipe the floor with him.
