Now, call me archaic, anti-progress, boomer or whatever, but in my times, games were developed and then they full released. There was no such thing as an “Early Access”, we just consider that as “not finished”. But things have changed, and now I have to, otherwise I will end up in a museum alongside the Virtual Boy and the Atari 7800. Early access means that developers release a version of the game that is in the works. It has certain features or modes that people can find enjoyable at the most, and playable at the least. I guess it helps to create a community of sorts? All together, waiting for the full game to become a reality? Anyway, Frozen Flame is a promising game that is in early access right now. We will take a look at the Frozen Flame roadmap and see what the future holds for the game.
Frozen Flame Roadmap
Well, if you have already played all of what Frozen Flame has to offer, then you will have to wait just a bit. The developers are constantly adding new content to the game and are officially letting all of us know how things are going thanks to the ClickUp Board that is available for all of us to see. Currently, what they are focusing on is in game balancing, items and also on the Dragons Grove, which will be a new location in the game.
Their plans for the future include several other locations and boss fights such as Frozen Land, The Ice Citadel and the aforementioned Dragons Grove for the former, and the Ghostwoods Keeper, The Ice Dragon and Faceless for the latter. Other game functions like taming and mounts, new weapons such as spears, shileds and hammers as well as the long awaited Survival Mode is currently set as Future Plans. They even plan to release the game on PlayStation and Xbox in the future. Now, “future” is very long, so be prepared for a couple of years of content being added. Will it be worth it? Only time will tell.
