Freedom Planet 2: All Amulet and Brave Stone Effects and Where to Find

Make your life easier or harder!

Whether intentional or otherwise, high-speed, Sonic-styled platformers have often been very modular experiences. Speedrunners, for example, like to place limits on themselves to make the game more interesting. Freedom Planet 2 has these modifiers built right in thanks to its various Amulets and Brave Stones. Here are all of the Amulets and Brave Stones in Freedom Planet 2, including their effects and locations.

Freedom Planet 2: All Amulet and Brave Stone Effects and Where to Find

Amulets are items that you can equip on the item screen before entering a stage in Freedom Planet 2. Amulets provide a variety of beneficial effects and modifiers. Some change the kind of damage you do, some change the kinds of shields you find, and others make it easier to restore health. There’s no overt downside to using these, though your time records will note that you used them if that bothers you.

On the flip side, Brave Stones can be equipped in the same item screen to make the game more difficult. Brave Stones can make you more vulnerable, make enemies stronger, and generally hinder you. Why bother with them, then? Because completing stages with Brave Stones equipped gives you a bonus to the number of Crystals you earn at the end.
