Daycare Generator Locations in Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach

Daycare Generator Locations in Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach and Ruin DLC

A sighting of the Eclipse

With childcare getting more and more expensive, sometimes it is easiest to combine a kid’s entertainment and safekeeping into one. Whilst a daycare can often feel like an imprisonment where your parents send you off under the guise of fun, the daycare of the Pizzaplex has a bit of entertainment and chilcare in a twisted concoction of the Daycare Assistant Sun and Moon. From an initial point of view, Sun is a harmless animatronic that may get a little too into your personal space and ruin your tic-tac-toe but it is nothing compared to the murderous rampage that ensues once Moon takes over. Be sure to turn the power back on otherwise the dark may be your new infinity. This is Trock and Vincent’s guide on where to find all daycare generators in Five Night at Freddy’s: Security Breach and Ruin DLC.

The FNAF series is perhaps best known for its jumpscares of the animatronics literally springing to life and stuffing the children’s. Whilst Sun remains on his good side, his counterpart Moon is one that should be treated much like Freddy and Bonnie approaching your confined office space in FNAF1 – you better keep those lights on if you wish to survive. Bizarrely, the Pizzaplex’s daycare runs on a ton of generators to keep its power on. In Security Breach you are tasked to locate 5 generators whilst evading Moon but in Ruin DLC the task switches more towards a puzzle game where your V.A.N.N.I mask is essential to figuring out the correct route to the 2 generators needed to reboot Moon from his glitching nightmare.

Daycare Generator Locations in Five Nights at Freddy’s Security: Breach

Before you kill the power at the security desk, you can check out a map of the daycare area on the monitors to get a general idea of where the generators are located. You’ll want to have a path mapped out in your head, because there won’t be much room for meandering with Moon out and about. Remember to periodically knock some stuff over to distract Moon.

There are multiple paths you can take for this, but here’s a good example:

  1. From the security desk, head toward the play structures and enter the first one on the right. Hug the left wall of the ground floor, and you’ll find a generator.
  2. Take the nearby ramp and round the corner at the top. Take a left at the cage part extending onto the path and enter the blue tube, followed by another blue tube to the left of the first’s exit. Go straight until you reach a green area, and you’ll find the second generator.
  3. Moving left from the second generator, leave the structure and follow the large power cable on the ground. Turn right before the cable reaches the blue slide into the middlemost structure. Search the ground floor until you find the cable, and follow it to the generator.
  4. While still in the center structure, simply climb to the very top, and you’ll find the fourth generator out in the open.
  5. Keep going after activating the fourth generator until you find a staircase heading down. Go down until you find a red bridge leading to another structure. Take that bridge and follow the path until you come across another power cable, then just follow it to the generator.

With all five generators activated, the lights will return and Sun will no longer be hostile. He will, however, be rather miffed with you and kick you out of the daycare. So hey, escape accomplished!

After successfully beating Security Breach as Gregory, the task within the daycare appears to have changed. Although Sun and Moon make their appearance once more, there is something less sinister and more concerning about the actual wellbeing for the animatronics this time round. With the awareness that the animatronics are malfunctioning due to malicious Mimic malware spreading itself across the system that caused the initial security breach, it can make you feel sorry for the animatronic that is trying to kill you. Although trying to approach Moon mid-malfunction is not a recommended action from us, for those looking for a jumpscare it is an appropriate place to start.

First Daycare Generator

The hunt for the generators in Ruin really begins when your objective is updated to find the generators and reboot the system. The first step is to use the Camera System in front of you where you need to search the Feeds for the corresponding Sun and Moon symbols which will remove the VR lock from the blockage so that you can continue your path through the daycare. You need Camera 5 and Camera 3. Head on through the blockage you cleared that was previously Freddy’s cut-out of his head and turn right. You will need the Vanny mask on throughout these steps. Follow the path around where you will see destroyed Security Bots.

At the next split, go through the yellow tunnel with a Sun picture on it. Follow this path and then head down some steps which will turn you round a corner to go back up another set of stairs. When you are at the top go past the VR wall which will take you to a dead-end. Remove the mask and continue the path as it will now be cleared. The first generator can be found here.

Second Daycare Generator

Next, head down into the very pointed hole in the floor with 3 arrows around it. Go through the blue tunnel and head into the clearing where the desk will be your safe haven. Follow the route all the way around and put your mask back on to see the Security Camera Desk. Go to Camera 5 and then Camera 2 to clear the blockage. Remember that you need your Vanny mask to do this. Head through the pipe and turn left from the tea party. Follow this path until you find another VR wall that you need to stand on the other side of and remove the mask in order to press on. The next generator can be found here.

Rebooting Sun and Moon

From the second generator, drop down via the pointing arrows and head to the other side of this clearing until you are in a new section of the maze. Follow the picture with the arrow pointing upwards and use the middle aisle where more arrow pictures point your path upwards. This will lead you to the roof once more where this time, your Vanny mask is not needed. Moon can be found here where all you need to do is approach and see the prompt to reboot Moon. Eclipse will be released where Cassie is taken to safety and your playthrough of rescuing Gregory can resume.
