Divine Knockout is the latest game published by Hi-Rez studios to feature gods and figures from ancient mythology. It functions like Super Smash Bros in the form of a 3D arena fighter. The game only launched last month but features several characters who can be unlocked with more presumably coming in the future as this is a live service game. Divine Knockout – How to Unlock Characters
Characters can be unlocked in Divine Knockout by earning runes. You can earn runes by paying for them with real money or by using God tokens. Each character costs 600 runes which are equal to one God token. Here are the prices for each amount of Runes:
500 Runes- $4.99
1,000 Runes- $9.99
2,750 Runes- $24.99
4,600 Runes- $39.99
12,000 Runes- $99.99
Just one God token costs 8,000 stars, the game’s free currency. These stars are earned by playing or winning matches. If you just want to unlock multiple characters in the game at once, you can just purchase the Founder’s Edition of the game. This will grant access to 8 playable characters currently available in Divine Knockout. Thanatos and Izanami are the only two characters not a part of the Founder’s Edition. You can purchase the Founder’s Edition for $24.99 on the Windows Store for Xbox and PC and the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5.
