Can You Take Companions on Missions in Hogwarts Legacy?

Can companions come cast spells with you?

The Wizarding World is no stranger to the most powerful magic of all, love. The power of friendship is one of the most integral plot points in the original Harry Potter books so we should expect it to be no different in Hogwarts Legacy. So far in the game it seems to be true that friendship really is magic because the main character is a magnet to making new friends. Each character that you can build a relationship has a intricate backstory that you get to explore while playing the game. Each character also has special quests that will teach you a special spell only they know! So it’s worth making friends with everyone.

Unfortunately, there is no way to magically summon a friend to come to your aid during any normal quest or while you are out exploring. There is a silver lining, though. If you are far enough into a friendship with Sebastian Sallow, Natsai Onai, Amit Thakkar or Poppy Sweeting you will have access to a specific quest line for them to complete their relationship. During those quests, they will be right by your side, ready to take on any and everything that the game throws at you.

Obsessed with grinding, always playing some game you've never heard of. I am a huge MMORPG, Gacha and farming simulator fan. If I'm not grinding something in one of the many games I play (Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Epic Seven etc) I can be found working on my novel, reading, watching anime or hanging out with my three dogs.
