I’m no urban planner, but I’m pretty sure the construction of a city, or even just a part of a city, takes as long as it does because everyone needs to be quadruple sure that none of the buildings are weirdly arranged or poking into each other. The whole reason for all that is that it’s really hard to make changes after the fact. This brings us to today’s question: can you rotate buildings in The Last Spell?
The Last Spell uses a very particular art style and layout in its building construction. While creating and maintaining your village is indeed a big part of the primary gameplay loop, you only have so much control over how everything looks and where it’s all placed.
Can you Rotate Buildings in The Last Spell?
There is no way to rotate buildings in The Last Spell, either before or after you construct them. All buildings automatically face the same way and at the same angle, and you need to work around that.
However, while it is not currently possible to rotate buildings in The Last Spell, do remember that this game is still in Early Access, so things could very well change later down the line of development. Not only that, but numerous players have made requests to the devs for a building rotation feature, so the notion is definitely in the back of their heads, if nothing else. Seriously, do a search on the Steam forums. You’ll get four pages of threads all asking the same thing. It’s funny.
