Being the weakest of the consoles available today in terms of performance, the Nintendo Switch surely struggles with certain games. Third party games need to be scaled down in order to be playable at a minimum of 30 fps. Nowadays, some first party titles and exclusives also suffer the same fate. That’s a big upgrade from the Switch’s performance that vary depending on the active instance being shown (in game fighting: around 50 fps, pre-rendered cutscenes: 30 fps, and in-game cutscenes: around 30 fps). Some people may say it is the best way to play the game. Me? I will remain neutral at the being.
