Can You Have Multiple Characters in Remnant 2?

Multiple characters or not?

Remnant 2 is an exciting thriller and a shooter as is, but can it get more exciting by playing with multiple characters? This is something that many players have been asking themselves since the game came out. But the question is not only whether you can have multiple characters in Remnant 2, but even if you can why would you have them?

Are Multiple Characters Possible in Remnant 2?

The short answer is yes, you can have multiple characters in Remnant 2. You can create them separately and level them up. However, if you’re only looking to try out a new Archetype, you don’t necessarily have to create a new character (although you can). You can simply visit vendors in Ward 13 and each one will have an item costing 1500 scrap that will unlock a new Archetype for you.

Even though you can buy yourself new Archetypes, some players have argued that this is not worth it if you simply want to try out a new class. Scrap that you need to use to pay the new Archetype is not that easy to gather, so many believe that it would be easier for you to simply start a new campaign if you want to see how another Archetype feels.

Why Even Bother to Create Multiple Characters in Remnant 2?

A lot of players like to create new characters to try out a different Archetype, after completing the game once. Still, others have a different reason for getting a fresh new character that will be a lower level than the main character.

Remnant 2 is a coop game and you won’t always be at the same level with your friends nor will you have a great Archetype to complement theirs when playing the game in multiplayer. That’s why certain hard-grinding players go for the creation of a new character that they will be able to use best with their often under-leveled friends.
