Is Karasawa Available in Armored Core 6?
To put it simply, yes. Karasawa gun is available in Armored Core 6 but it’s been rebranded under a new name – 44-142 KRSV. However, you won’t be able to get your hands on this weapon easily. It will take some grinding before you can get your mech hands on it!
How Can You Acquire Karasawa/KRSV Gun in Armored Core 6?
To acquire 44-142 KRSV, you will need to get to Rank 12 of LOGHUNT. You can’t get it any other way, such as from chests and containers that you loot throughout the game.
LOGHUNT, a mercenary support program, is unlocked when you complete Operation Wallclimber in Chapter 1. From that moment forward, you will be able to find special enemies in your missions that will carry Combat Logs with them. As you take them out and accumulate these Logs you will increase your LOGHUNT Rank.
For you to get to LOGHUNT Rank 12 you will need to complete the whole playthrough and even venture into New Game+ a bit. Don’t be discouraged, however. Once you get a hang of this game and skill up, it won’t take you too much time to complete this.
What Kind of a Gun is Karasawa/KRSV?
Karasawa or 44-142 KRSV as it’s known in Armored Core 6, is a laser and plasma gun at the same time. You can shoot instant low-damage laser beams or charged high-damage plasma shots. The main advantage of this gun lies in its charged shots that can do devastating damage if you can land them on your enemies.
