The character creation process is a central aspect of just about any MMORPG, especially Tower of Fantasy. I certainly don’t know any other MMO that lets you customize hair on three different levels. However, after you finish your character, you may feel the urge to go back and change something about them. Specifically, can you change your gender later in Tower of Fantasy?

In Tower of Fantasy, you can open up your backpack at any time and click on the Outfits button to re-customize your character’s appearance, including their clothes, hair, face, and so on. You can change any aspect of your character’s appearance whenever you want, with the exception of one element: your character’s gender.

Your character’s gender is unfortunately locked in when you start the game. If you want to play as a character of the opposite gender, your only option is to start the game over with a new character.
Currently, the closest thing you can do to changing your character’s gender is to change their gender designation. If you go to the character tab in your backpack screen, you’ll see a portrait of your character on the top right, next to which is a blue or pink gender indicator. If you tap that indicator, you can opt to swap it to its opposite. Bear in mind that this won’t have any visible impact on your character, it’s just a matter of denoting their gender for your preferences.
