In Wayfinder, the opportunity to play as multiple characters who have different abilities is a great feature and one that many players can enjoy. If you are bored of your chosen Wayfinder’s abilities and fancy a change, or are looking to level up each character as they hold a preferred playstyle that is better used against specific dungeon bosses, you have more than enough opportunity to level your characters up in preparation of higher levelled fights. But as you will note that most story quests can only be completed once, you may wonder how summoning in another character will grant you similar XP gains as with oyur primary pick. This is Vincent’s guide on the best way to farm XP and level up all of your characters in Wayfinder.

XP Farming Guide in Wayfinder

Whilst there are some quests in Wayfinder that cannot be repeated for XP, you may be wondering if any can be used across your different Wayfinders that you can summon in during your playthrough. Because you can use multiple characters throughout your playthrough, there is no system in place for completing the questlines you have already finished when using your primary Wayfinder in your playthrough. So what do you do? Well, regardless on which character you are using, if you are playing as multiple between each Expedition or simply using one Wayfinder that you want to max-out, there is a way to consistently bring in XP for every character in the game. The quests that are repeatable and that you should divert your attention to for maximum XP gain are:

• Restoring the Archives (21,000 XP)
• The Would-Be Successors (13,000 XP)

These questlines offer two very different experiences when it comes farming XP in Wayfinder. Restoring the Archives asks players to locate book pages and return them to the Curator. It is a longer quest to complete but houses much more rewards than that of The Would-Be Successors. But the other quest offers a much faster route to gaining XP but at a price of limited gold. Whilst the Archives quests also offers a ton of gold for you to farm, you may find that repeating the Successors quest grants you more XP within the hour at the cost of less gold.

Finally, you should head into both quests with your Wayfinders at difficulty Sphere 4. To get this difficulty however, you first need to complete an Expedition on Sphere 1 to unlock Sphere 2. You then need to complete a Sphere 2 Expedition with 1 Imbuement and finally complete Sphere 3 Expedition with 2 Imbuements to unlock the final Sphere, the fourth which is important to gain maximum XP possible on the two quests listed for farming above.
