Best Sniper Loadouts in XDefiant Beta

The days of quick-scoping return

If you are like me, you miss a good FPS Game where you can go off using Sniper-only throughout the entire match. The days of Modern Warfare 2 (2009) Multiplayer used to be the most satisfying for Sniping that most games now feel empty without it. Call of Duty has not really felt the same since the Barrett 50. Cal or Intervention and with other FPS Games such as Apex Legends shooting to the forefront, the only real option is the Charge Rifle, being the most annoying Sniper to face in gaming history. But Ubisoft are attempting to defy the odds of the recent years with terrible Sniping gameplay with their new Arena Game, XDefiant. With crazy one-shot Loadouts, this guide will show you the best of the best Snipers to use in XDefiant so you can feel like an old-school Sniper creating your Faze Clan Montages.

Best XDefiant Sniper Loadouts

As this research has been gathered based on the Closed Beta in XDefiant, the best Loadouts will likely see a shift when the full game releases. With XDefiant being a Free-to-Play Game, players are bound to experience many updates messing with the balance of the Weapons. From consistent nerfing and rare buffing of Weapons, the meta will regularly move around. However for now, players only have access to two Snipers in XDefiant and unsurprisingly, both hit crazy hard in this game. The two Snipers available are the Tac-50 and the M44. But deciding which one to use can be a tough choice based on the type of player you are. Not only this but, your Faction also factors into what Sniper you rock as the Factions are divided into Offense, Defence and Support.

Best Tac-50 Class to Use

The Tac-50 is the better Sniper to use for those who enjoy playing for the Objective or getting into the primary position to spawn camp. You will want the Attachments: Lightweight (Muzzle), Lightweight Suppressor (Barrel), CQBSS x8 (Scope), Ex Mag (Ammo) and Quickdraw (Rear Grip). This Sniper is great for all-round players and can feel better than the M44 for the fact that you only need to set up in a good vantage point and reposition when necessary or in case of overextending in a fight. You should be towards the back of the pack, positioned in a way that you can pick off enemies trying to take the objective.

Position is key with the Tac-50 and it should not be used to push out towards the frontline or trying to keep the enemies within their spawn by overextending towards this area. Instead, you should place yourself where you can punish those trying to capture the point. You will want to use cover wherever possible and not try to fight in the open. Instead, pick off those trying to get to the objective by going out into the open themselves. The Tac-50 can be used to get clean collateral kills and can easily one-shot enemies in the chest or higher.

Best M44 Class to Use

For those who want speed and mobility, the M44 is the better Sniper to use. The Loadout you will want to use is: ACOG x4 (Scope), Lightweight Suppressor (Barrel), Recon (Muzzle), Padded (Stock) and Quickdraw (Rear Grip). The M44 is perfect for both movability and ambushing other players. For this reason, we highly recommend that those playing on either Echelon or Libertad. Although the Tac-50 can really be used by any Faction, we recommend that the M44 is used by either Supportive Classes or those that excel in flanking and ambushing enemies as shown with the Echelon. Not only do you have the movability to get in and out of a fight with ease but, with the fast ADS Speed and the use of a Suppressor, using the Factions listed will allow you to always have the upper hand.

Playing as Echelon, you will be able to sneak your way through the map completely invisible and ambush any enemies. Use this to get to an enemy directly or to get into a position where you can flank a group with them having no idea that you are behind them. The Libertad will allow you to offer health to teammates and to keep you alive for a bullet longer if you were to miss that crucial headshot. Working similar to COD’s Stim, you can keep yourself alive to reposition or an extra second to take out the enemies in the area.
